Former US military commander and late American television producer Sy Kravitz. Jean Kaufman and Joseph Kravitz were the parents of Sy Kravitz. Despite having Jewish and Russian ancestry, Sy Kravitz is a citizen of the United States. For his work as a film producer for the National Broadcasting Company (NBC), he was well-known.

Sy fell in love with movies from a young age and, before he was old enough to act in them, was already planning the kinds of movies he would like to make and the roles he would like to play.

At his local high school, where he also played football and soccer and was quite active in other extracurricular activities, he was a member of the theatre club. He was a member of the school’s sports team. In 1946, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the university where he had completed his secondary studies.

Sy Kravitz and his younger Leonard brother joined the US Army. Green Beret Sy, who earned the rank of Sergeant, served in both the Second and Third World Wars. Leonard fought with him in Korea; he was slain while they were engaged in combat.

On October 29, 2005, Sy Kravitz, who was 80 years old, passed away in New York City after he was diagnosed with leukaemia.
